When should I contact a president rather than a sporting director?
When the club has no sporting director, when the director is newly appointed and has no budget authority yet, or when the deal needs a financing structure only the board can approve.
How should the first message read?
Short, commercial and specific: player, position, cost structure, and why it helps the club this season. Board contacts read fewer, shorter emails than recruitment staff.
