Privacy Center

Our complete privacy notice: what information we hold about members and football professionals, why we hold it, how we protect it, and how you can exercise your rights.

TransferDesk in one sentence

TransferDesk is a professional contact platform for the football industry: vetted football professionals — agents, scouts, recruitment staff, clubs and agencies — use it to find and reach the right professional counterpart for recruitment, scouting, representation and transfer-market work.

Who this notice covers

TransferDesk processes personal data as the controller. This notice covers members who create an account and football professionals whose professional records appear in our database, such as sporting directors, technical directors, heads of recruitment, scouts, coaches and agents.

Information we hold

For members, we collect the email address and profile information provided when creating an account, together with subscription, billing, usage and security data. This includes contact-reveal activity needed to operate the platform securely and enforce plan limits.

Professional records contain professional information: name, current role, club, company or agency, country and competition, and — where available — a direct professional contact channel and other football-related professional information.

Why and how we use information

Member data is used to provide access, verify permissions, enforce plan and reveal limits, prevent abuse, send service updates, meet billing and tax obligations, and improve the platform.

For professional records, we rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: enabling legitimate professional networking, recruitment, scouting, representation and transfer-market communication within professional football. You may object to this processing at any time.

Where does the information come from?

We obtain professional information from a variety of professional sources. These may include publicly available professional sources, official club and organisational sources, information provided by professionals themselves, and information provided by our members.

Who can see it?

Only members — professional football stakeholders with a paid or trial account. Direct contact channels are additionally protected by controlled, logged contact reveals with strict limits. Our database is not publicly downloadable, and scraping, bulk harvesting and resale are prohibited and technically restricted.

We do not sell or license our database to third parties. Members access professional contact information through their own controlled, logged accounts, subject to strict acceptable-use rules.

Members are independent controllers of their own outreach and must comply with applicable laws and honour opt-outs. See our terms of service.

How long do we keep it?

Member data is kept for the life of the account and afterwards where required for legal, billing and security purposes. Professional records are kept while they remain relevant and accurate for the purposes described above, subject to periodic data-quality review.

Your rights

Members can update or delete their account from the Account page. Any person can ask us to access, correct or delete their information, restrict its processing, or object to processing — including an unconditional right to object to direct marketing. Use the form below or email hello@transferdesk.online. We will respond within the timeframes required by the GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

Security

Access controls, encryption in transit, server-verified permissions, activity logging, rate limiting and controlled reveals protect the information we hold.
